The Cyber Collaboration Center is excited to announce that the next DFARS 7012 Series webinar will feature Katie Arrington, the director of the DoD’s Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) initiative and the leader of the CISO Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment (OUSD A&S).
The CMMC initiative presents a sweeping, industry-wide sea change in the way the military approaches procurement, and is expected to impact every company doing business with the DoD – especially prime contractors with supply chains. Once it is fully implemented, the CMMC program will require 100% of all DoD contractors to obtain 3rd party certifications of cybersecurity compliance in order to maintain eligibility to bid on new DoD contracts starting in September 2020.
