About the Event
The San Diego Summit on Emerging Digital Technology and Government is hosted by Representative Susan Davis, GSA’s Pacific Rim Regional Administrator & Senior Technology Advisor Andrew McMahon, and San Diego State University’s San Diego Regional Innovation Cluster. The summit is part of an effort to facilitate open dialogue between federal government policy makers, the local technology industry and academia about the government’s growing demand for emerging technology. The intent is to identify areas where the tech industry can help government agencies meet their technology needs.
Topics include:
- Demonstrating programs and experiments GSA’s 18F digital services team is conducting to attract talent and digital solutions to the federal marketplace;
- Providing an opportunity for the government to hear from information technology producers about the challenges of doing business with the government; and
- Training on how to sell to and buy from the federal government.
