As the pandemic further widens economic disparity and inequality in already underserved communities, it is more imperative than ever that our region step up to get this recovery right. But the onus does not fall to the private sector to achieve the 2030 Inclusive Growth goals alone. As stimulus funding flows into our region, the priorities of government, academia, and nonprofit sectors must be aligned.
At our Report to the Community, EDC will unveil data on the region’s collective progress towards the 2030 goals and hear commitments from government, academia, and community leaders to increasing the number of quality jobs, skilled talent, and thriving households as outlined in the Inclusive Growth Initiative. The event will include breakfast and networking in the gym at the Jackie Robinson YMCA.
