Hacking for Defense (H4D)

January 9, 2018 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

On Tuesday, January 9th, BMNT Partners and MD5 National Security Technology Accelerator will host a full-day event from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at the SD Supercomputer Center Auditorium as an introduction to the nation-wide H4D initiative. The goal is to educate Department of Defense problem sponsors, corporate/venture capital partners, university faculty, and students on the initiative to improve defense innovation.

The Strategic Studies Group would like to cordially invite you to attend any portion of the day including the social hour at Estancia’s Mustangs and Burros from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

RSVP is available at https://goo.gl/WHuRWq.

As we expand the program, this course will provide an overview of the H4D methodology used in current and future courses of Hacking for Defense and teach sponsors how to achieve maximum results from the course.

For potential Government Problem Sponsors from across the DoD and Intelligence Community, the course provides insight into how to best prepare winning problems for what is a very competitive selection process amongst student teams. Further, the course teaches best practices on how to engage the Hacking for Defense class and maximize student expertise in solving tough problems.

For our Corporate & Industry Partners, this course provides an opportunity for your cohorts of H4D™ team advisors to become familiar with applying lean methodology to solving national security problems while also learning how to make the experience supporting H4D® more valuable to your organization.

An agenda for the day can be accessed here.
