* Amid growing concern about the vulnerability of the U.S. election system to hackers, Pennsylvania told election officials they had to upgrade their machines last year.
* According to the AP, the election industry is “dominated” by three big companies: Election Systems and Software LLC (ES&S), Dominion Voting Systems Inc., and Hart InterCivic Inc, which a 2017 study found collectively control 92 percent of election systems in place in the country.
