Join us for a month of hacking, innovating, and creating technology applications that will have a positive impact on the world. The Hackathon is virtual, allowing teams to work remotely anytime during the month, and is open to participants from around the globe. The top team will receive US$5,000 and join us in San Francisco, CA, to present to more than 1,000 sustainability professionals at the BSR Conference 2015.
The hackathon theme is Transformative Technology: helping empower people and enhance quality of life around the globe. Sample topics include economic development, inclusive economy, smart cities, efficient transportation, and cost-efficient healthcare.
We are hosting kick-off receptions in New York, San Diego, and San Francisco on September 17 for prospective hackers to meet and brainstorm. Additional information about these events is available at hackathon.bsr15.org.
