SUMMARY:Stop backhauling data ~ Think outside the network security box
DESCRIPTION:More security for your network doesn’t have to mean more boxes. It also doesn’t mean reconfiguring your network topology for an all-or-nothing leap to the cloud. Don’t believe it? \nJoin iboss Cybersecurity and our guest Forrester for a Webinar that will forever change the way you see network security. \nForrester will share insight into the concerns facing today’s CISOs and VPs\, and strategies for overcoming the technical\, personnel\, and organizational challenges of securing modern networks with remote offices and mobile workers. And iboss will share how customers from every industry and corner of the public sector have utilized the iboss Platform to revolutionize their network architecture and modernize their security operations and cost models. \nYou will learn: \n\nHow to overcome challenges of on-prem secure web gateway technology and shared cloud environments\nStrategies for eliminating on prem web gateway appliance costs so you can repurpose resources\nThe differences between built-for-cloud distributed gateway architectures and legacy on prem gateways with bolt-on cloud security approaches\nThe importance of using distributed architectures to reduce complexity and operational friction\n\nDon’t get boxed into old network security thinking. Learn how distributed gateway solutions are changing the game. This is a Webinar you can’t afford to miss.

SUMMARY:Stuxnet And The New Age Of Warfare
DESCRIPTION:Covering security\, privacy and cybercrime for more than a decade for WIRED Magazine and other publications\, Kim will discuss how Stuxnet represents the ushering in of a new age of warfare – one in which a digital attack can have the same destructive effects on target as a megaton bomb. Kim will pay particular attention to the many vulnerabilities our own critical infrastructure and industrial control systems leave exposed to Stuxnet-like strikes from state and non-state actors alike. \nThe first 50 attendees at the event will receive a copy of her book\, Countdown to Zero Day\, which tells the story of Stuxnet\, the destructive digital virus that was designed by the US and Israel to sabotage Iran’s nuclear program.

SUMMARY:Overcoming Cybersecurity Challenges Through Analytics
DESCRIPTION:Cyberattacks are on the rise\, with increasingly sophisticated and persistent cyber threats prompting the Obama administration to issue the Cybersecurity Strategy and Implementation Plan (CSIP) and Cybersecurity National Action Plan (CNAP) to enhance cybersecurity capabilities within the federal government and across the country. \nAs agencies work to implement these plans\, issues such as outdated infrastructure systems\, inconsistent capabilities\, and inadequate resources hinder their effort to detect\, prevent\, and recover from cyber attacks. In this webcast\, we’ll explore the role big data and analytics play in overcoming these challenges and talk with experts about leveraging existing infrastructure with an integrated cyber analytics approach to help government agencies: \n\n• Detect the overall exposure\n• Predict and prevent cyber attacks\n• Improve cyber defense\n• Automate threat indicator sharing
